Tenth Annual Community Awareness Event

Herschel Walker
In 2002, he was voted into the Collegiate Football Hall of Fame and in 2015 was selected as the greatest player in college football in the last half century. Additionally, Herschel is an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness. He is the author of Breaking Free, an account of the joys and hardships of his childhood to his remarkable college and professional career. His compelling story testifies to the strength of the human spirit and the ability to overcome challenges. Dinner by Naman’s.
Join hundreds of attendees including local and regional elected government officicals, judiciary, court personnel, law enforcement, business professionals, physcians and mental health providers, treatment providers, and many tireless volunteers in our community health.
The Drug Court Program was founded in 2007 to promote justice through uniformity in judicial proceedings and cohesive educational and rehabilitative efforts to meet the needs of those with drug and alcohol addictions to save lives, reduce future criminal conduct, and return people to normal, productive lives. The Foundation was created to provide educational outreach and supplement these rehabilitative efforts through the Courts by providing resources for eductational intervention in our community and promoting accurate and proactive communinity awareness. We have reached over 10,000 middle school students with our educational programs after recognizing the average age a child first experiments with drugs is 13 years old.

Pete Rose
Known as baseball's "Hit King" with 4,256 career hits in 3,562 games played, Rose is one of baseball's all-time greatest players. Before a hometown crowd at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, first baseman Pete Rose got his 4192nd major league career hit. The hit, a first-inning single, broke Ty Cobb's career record of 4,191 that stood since 1928. Pete finished his playing career on August 17, 1986. Dinner by Naman’s.

Danny Trejo
Danny has developed a prolific career in the entertainment industry with a hard earned and atypical road to success. From years of imprisonment to helping troubled youth battle drug addictions, from acting to producing, and now on to restaurant ventures. Trejo's name, face, and achievements are well recognized in Hollywood and beyond, but it is his continuous role as a devoted father of three and an intervention counselor that bring him the most satisfaction. Trejo has starred in dozens of films including Con Air, Once upon a Time in Mexico, Spy Kids, Machete, and Machete Kills. Trejo also released his fearlessly honest memoir Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood in July 2021. Dinner by Naman’s.
